VITAMIN BOMB: GREEN is where it’s at in terms of deep therapeutic cleansing. Greens are regenerating, therapeutic and healing. They are the RX everyone should be taking daily. One of the reasons is they are filled with chlorophyll which is wonderful for building new blood, alkalizing your system, fighting infections, detoxification, and supporting your digestive and immune systems. Greens are also very nutrient dense, so drinking greens in juice form blasts your system with an amazing amount of all natural RAW vitamins and minerals within minutes. Why? A juice extractor removes the fiber during the processing of fruits and veggies, so it pre-digests the food for you leaving nothing but pure nutrition ready for your body to absorb (and the absorbency rate is really high!). For this VITAMIN BOMB I used a small handful of parsley, a handful of both beet greens and spinach,4 collards, 1 apple, 4 carrots and an inch of ginger. The vitamin BOMB contains folates, vitamins A,C,E,K and B-Complex. Minerals: sodium, potassium, iron, calcium, manganese, phosphorous, selenium, copper and zinc. The greens and the carrots combined contain beta-carotene, lutein and zeaxanthin, supporting our eyes, skin and immunity. Collard greens contain special glucosinates that are anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory and support our natural cellular detox activities. Apple provides antioxidant and digestive support and ginger provides anti-inflammatory and digestive support. #REALJUICE makes #REALSENSE #food #raw #health #diet #vegan #vegetarian #fitness #fitspo #juicing #juicelife #yoga #pilates #nutrition #recipes - @chaudsjuicetherapy- #webstagram

MMMM! Gwyneth Paltrow’s No-Fry Fries!
Cut potatoes in half horizontally; cut each half into 1/3-inch-thick fries. Place cut fries in a bowl of cold water; let soak 1/2 hour. Remove from water and dry thoroughly. Heat oil to 300° in a deep fryer or large heavy pot. Working in batches, fry potatoes, stirring occasionally, until lightly golden, 4 to 5 minutes. Drain fries on a cookie rack set on top of a sheet pan; let cool. Once you’ve fried all potatoes, raise heat to 375°. Working in batches, fry again until dark brown and crispy, 2 minutes. Drain on rack; sprinkle with salt and serve.
